Leaf Removal & Fall Cleanup in Anderson, Indiana

Schmidt Sons Landscaping handles leaf removal and full seasonal cleanups across Anderson and Madison County — leaves mulched, bagged or hauled off, beds cleared, gutters cleaned, and the final mow of the season.

What the job involves

There are three ways to deal with leaves. Mulched into the lawn is cheapest and genuinely good for the turf when the leaf load is light, but it stops working once they're deep. Bagged is the middle option — we bag them and set them for pickup. Hauled off means we take them with us, which is best for heavy leaf years and yards with mature trees.

Tell us which you want, or ask and we'll tell you what makes sense for your yard.

Most people book the whole cleanup at once, because it's one trip: leaves cleared from lawn, beds and around the foundation; beds cleaned out and cut back for winter; gutters cleaned once the trees have finished dropping; the final mow of the season; and walks and drive blown off.

Fall cleanup is the tightest window we work. The leaves come down, the weather turns, and everyone calls in the same two weeks. If you want it done before Thanksgiving, ask in September or early October.

Spring cleanup is the same idea in reverse — winter litter cleared, beds prepped, and the yard reset before the growing season starts.

Worth knowing

Book early. Fall cleanup fills up faster than anything else we do.

Questions

Common questions about this service

When should fall cleanup happen in Indiana?

Late October into November for most Anderson yards — after the bulk of the leaves are down but before the ground freezes. Yards with many mature trees often do better with an early pass and a final pass.

Do you do the last mow of the season?

Can gutters be cleaned during the fall cleanup?
